Some comments I have from setting up my own account: Decline checks. They will charge you to print and ship them, so make sure to tell them NO checks when signing up for the account. Also, this bank is open until at 7pm on weekdays, so there is plenty of time to set up an account after work!

For the three requirements, I set up direct deposit of $25 at work, I paid my Cox bill online using my checking account, and I transferred $25 from my savings account to the checking account [It's easiest to set up the transfer at the time of signing up for the account]. Since there is no minimum time that the accounts must be open, I will close both accounts once I receive all my bonus money.

When opening up your account make sure and get several tell-a-friend forms if you plan on getting the referral bonus.
